Yes this transaction is the purchase of the southern part of MDL 137 - the northern part was acquired 2015 from Peabody as part of the renamed isaac east project. Appears to be higher value coking coal in the southern part and a better strip ratio too.
If they can bring it into production in the next 3-4 years then there's potential to run this open cut in parallel with the isaac east open cut and isaac underground (currently in BFS)? Could see combined production up to 3 mill tonnes.
