big cap gold stocks have all been getting turned down on what looks to me for all the world like a rinse repeat of March2020's flush and rip setup as instos and algos pressed down to try and get cheap shares

last night the HUI did a nice big bull reversal

so this kind of deal and pricing announced here likely represents a major springboard sweetspot for those financing the deal

the fact the recent weak price action was near universal means this wasnt EVN specific

the only goldies showing much strength that I follow were juniors with high grade discovery stories

id be taking that 3.85 spp with both hands

the actual acquisition is more proof of evn mgt quality - more of the same core concentration double down and lift LOM at same time as reducing long run AISC - rather than spreading themselves thin

but its a ginormous aircraft carrier of a company - can takes 5+ years before you get the full fruits of moves now
