I don't think BM owns the other 8% of Empire. I think this is still held by Commonwealth Energy Assets LLC, which has US partners but I could be wrong...this was certainly the case just before the Mayville acquisition at the end of 2009 and I don't think BM purchased any of that share as far as I am aware.
Guys, I honestly didn't reply to this thread to be a downer on the stock even though I feel like it taken this kind of turn. I just wanted to clarify a couple of things as I have been heavily into this stock for a long time now and heard all the promises. Good luck with this and I hope you get better drilling success from the oil than what the NY gas has thrown up thus far. If gas prices do get back up to record levels and the Utica shale becomes feasible, I will certainly be jumping back in, which is why I continue to track the stock. BM thought this would require an international price for natural gas though, which I would say is at least 5 years off?
