The Olympics comes around every 4 years (3 next). During that time is when the trading of pins take place. They didn’t start NBA Top Shot in the off-season when eyes were elsewhere.

I want this to be a major success don’t get me wrong!! But these guys who said they’ll aim for July 30th are now saying 17th of August. Time is money and I’m presuming collectors will show us whether they buy the upcoming boxes or not.

Not the end of the world that’s for sure! But if you’re doing a tournament that goes for 2 weeks you better release the product within that span.
