    correct, its because ACR is designated as a Pooled Development Fund for tax purposes. Any capital losses cannot be offset against any future capital gains. This arrangement was set up by Paul Keating back in the late 80's to encourage startup's to stay in Australia, with the allure of... if the startup does ok, there will be no capital gains tax, or tax on dividends for Australian resident tax payers. I believe (but not 100% sure) that the other restriction is no Day Trading. Jet
