Thanks Mars you are right of course. Mine is clearly an emotional outburst - apart from feeling a little better for a short time, it does serve little purpose.
We are all brought up with a story about how the market works, a story which is still sold by many today. It goes like this
"Buy a stock in a company with a good idea and plans to bring it to fruition. It the company executes well and the idea has merit the money will come tumbling in and the sp will rise, making you money. As the company goes about its business it may reach milestones that cause the sp to rise as it represents progress toward the goal of bringing the money in"
This story is still sold pretty hard by the financial industry, despite in reality stock prices rarely follow this simple model. For human beings this story make logical sense and from my perspective it is hard to shake.
Despite having read about bots, trading strategies, inside information, market favourites, over valuations, the macro economy , the geo political situation etc etc and understanding the impact of these things on share prices, somehow i still hope that the release of good news will lead to a higher sp, even though evidence very often suggests otherwise!!
In the end I agree that ACR lives in a very competitive and fickle world. Who knows whether this dossier will lead to any success or is of any value.
