Sorry guys, this a serial baiter who followed me over from ZIP forums. You'd think he'd pick a bigger stock than OSX for attention on Hot Copper.
Not that you actually care about OSX beyond an opportunity to bait, but as ever in this risky early stage of bio-tech, cash burn is why it fell. A shame you can't see what is concerning other investors and staring you in the face. On that front, some investors may have overlooked the ending of the three years of cash contributions OSX itself has to contribute to the A*Star deal, beginning in 2021, which should reduce that a little, or feel the Zimmer Biomet deal too late to address in time.
Ultimately, for all the 6 quarters of successive growth, that is impressive at 30% YoY, it is off too small an absolute base relative to its costs, to allay cash burn fears. Realistically, until/if OSX follows through on either of its long alluded to Innoventure or (less promising) CellHeal deals with some up front payments, its cash burn remains prominent cause for concern for the stock - why it is priced down here afterall - and investors therein. And/or, of course, investors feel the Zimmer Biomet deal too late, and it won't shortly bump sales up by 200%+ to allevaite the burn - this not such a remote possibility as it sounds, given the very low base of sales in absolute terms and the sheer influence of the top three global orthopedic supplier.
Thought you would have at least garnered such simply perceived financial analysis basics from all the time you spend on Hot Copper Stonks? Its all pretty obvious simple stuff.
