Such a shame. SA was the big go for this company and it has been shafted at every bend by a bad JV partner and a horrible legal system. No company should ever do business in SA under these parameters and yet politicians spruke corporation and partnership ala the delegation picture and it is all absolute BS. Alara should have told the delegation their story and then closed by facing their bums for camel and BoG shafting.
Interestingly ONLY 2% converted their options meaning there are now around 600 mil share held by bunny investors that must really be questioning why they invested in countries like KSA, Oman and South Africa that are thwart with danger for great shafting and uncertainty.
What a f....... joke. Bet they have sore ars.....
