Texas power failure was supported by wind even after the refineries and gas infrastructure stopped. Wind was one of the last sources of energy to succumb to the weather. Do some reading. And they didn't need their pipes to be repaired after the thaw.
As for wind turbines....you allude to something....noise.... Well I have stood under a turbine. The car that was driving down the road 300 meters away made more noise.

Funny...two of them are also the biggest renewable wind energy producers.... Seems like a good idea to have a good mix of renewables wouldn't you say.
As for climate change....well something is happening. Bugs and animals and people are being affected by climate big time. Do some more reading like the rest of the educated. In Canada the Northwest passage is NOW passable. The largest ice shelf in Canada just broke in half a few months ago and that half simply disappeared. The ice cap is receding.
