Top line results are the first read.
It takes anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months to fully analyse clinical trial results.
You can't suspend a stock for more than 5 days as it complicates all kinds of ASX listing rules. Like for any corporate transaction or capital raise you need to do a new prospectus etc.
I suspect that there was a bunch of hot money that was going to sell no matter the results and those that weren't in it for a quick trade might of panicked and sold.
Hey it's not an efficient market and this is just another reminder of why.
