I agree with you. Companies can keep themselves in a Trading Halt for more than the 2 days if they deem it necessary for something as important as deciphering the massive amount of data that comes out of a trial like this (I think they can even go into a voluntary suspension or something like that if they need to, although that's not usually a good look). I would have thought it's much better to keep everyone waiting for a few more days and get the full understanding of all of the data and what it means, rather than releasing it with a note of 'there's more here we need to understand that will take a bit more investigation and we'll get back to you...'
Anyway, we are where we are now, and another 9 months or so waiting now.
