Which in itself would be very welcomed.
Especially given that as of 2024, there are more than 472,000 Australians living with dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease, and given that the number is expected to rise significantly in the coming decades, any assistance in slowing the inevitable decline would be seen a a positive by those of us with the condition.
It would also have a positive economic effect through reducing the reliance on institutional care, etc.
