My thoughts exactly when I first read the CR announcement.
As they have consistently been promoting the year on year, quarter on quarter revenue growth and, in particular, AOM's rapid revenue growth, all signs point to a great quarterly.
It is not a good look having the CR just prior to the (possibly quite significant) quarterly results.
It is an even worse look when the directors give themselves an opportunity to be participating at 16% discount (to the exclusion of shareholders) and, quite possibly, enjoying a very easy gain on those equities acquired.
I will be voting against director participation in this CR.
IMO they should be leading the buying on market, like the rest of us schlobs. With their superior knowledge of the company's figures and project advancements (which quite frankly I feel I have more questions than answers about) some on market buying would be a confidence boost for other investors to jump in. Directors buying at (significant) discount doesn't have the same appeal and feels quite unfair TBH.
