Hydro power additional investement
2 weeks ago the Tanzanian Government signed loan agreements with the African Development Bank Group, to finance the Malagarasi #Hydropower Project at Igamba falls.Part of an overall commitment of $465.19m to ongoing #energy projects, inc the 400kV Nyakanazi to Kigoma & the Rusumo to Nyakanazi transmission lines. These projects are in addition to the advanced Nyakanazi to Geita transmission line, financed by AFD - Agence Française de Développement.This positive support will benefit Adavale Resources economically & environmentally with an overall aim to improve the power supply in western Tanzania and transition to more #sustainable growth through the production of reliable, affordable #SustainableEnergy. As the world progresses towards a cleaner future, such a project will stand as a flagship of physical #infrastructure investment & lessen the nation’s dependency on fossil- based #electricity generation, reducing transmission line issues & contribute to improving the region’s financial #sustainability.
