I'm waiting for guidance from the board, I can make the meeting, so will wait for the discussion. It appears on the face of it that Jendry has the qualifications and experience but is he more qualified than current board members? Honest question as I have no idea.
Nero appears to be an astute investor, if you believe the stated returns and blurb on their web site.
Realistically if you want to have the final say in a takeover play you need more than 10%, but staying below the 20% so as to not trigger one. I'm wondering if Nero may have other entities that they can "vote with" (not colluding of course, 'cause that would be illegal), that maybe have a few percent of CVN's capital. Maybe a time for those in the industry to pull out the share registry, and cross reference with registries from other companies Nero has invested in?
Maybe Nero sees an undervalued asset, good management with huge upside and wants a seat at the table to try and maximise their investment going forward?
Maybe Nero have affiliations with like minded shareholders, either way, looking forward to the unwinding of this story.
