Hi Magpie forever, you could very well be right, it's been a couple of decades since I worked in the industry. Used to be you couldn't own 20% of listed capital without launching a takeover bid, and if you reached 90% then the remainder was compulsory acquisition, not too sure today, I'm sure you could google it. My point stays the same though. Once you have 10% (or X% if I'm wrong), any one wishing to mount a takeover, hostile or otherwise would need to include you in the process, very difficult to be successful without your consent. So you may be able to swing a bit of a better deal, That's all I'm trying to say.
