Banksy - the leases to the south east are owned by the Mancal Group. They also owned the leases that CPL purchased last year for $90 odd mil. The mine permit was split in two - they still own McLeod River Mine permit which covers the leases to south east and CPL own McPherson Creek Mine permit which is now Vista. Plenty of coal but I would suspect not a priority for CPL given it is a minimum 20km from rail. Although this distance is negligible from an industry perspective I suggest CPL have more than enough resources at this stage to mine. What is does show is the enormous upside available in the area once the infrastructure is built.

Still intriguing as to who Scott Land and Lease were acting for in their lease applications as these lease locations don’t appear to have been detailed on the coal lease map on the Alberta Energy website as yet where as Coalspur’s have.
