@ainsleym -- mate, for the very reasons you explain ASX does not allow mention of visible gold in price sensitive anns. Poor dear souls are only trying to protect we simple folk from ourselves.
If there is visible gold, picked up by the naked eye, then under a lens there is no doubt it can be distinguished from pyrite or the yellow coloured copper minerals. For a start virtually all pyrite would show its characteristic FCC crystal structure, and its twinning structure on crystal faces - I was always taught the definitive test is that pyrite is hard and brittle while native gold is soft and ductile.
Called Fools Gold because only fools are deceived by it.
We must wait the assays then all sorts of conclusions can be drawn - meanwhile all who follow KTA if they have dry powder, consider well timed application.
