Just as a practical example re the oppies. Those bought on 15 September have gone from.012 to .048, that's 300%.
The heads have gone from.044 to .088, that's 100%.
So, one can sell one quarter of those oppies purchased for .012 @ .048 and recover all of their initial payment and still have three quarters of those that were initially purchased.
They can continue to run with them, or sell, or convert to the heads and have them starting already 145% up on their overall cost.
THAT"S the advantage of buying as early as possible, IF one has faith in the continuation of the story. The size of the percentages from now on will, obviously, depend on the size of any continued improvement in the head's SP vis a vis the price of the options.
It's a very personal decision, but, getting in as low as possible is definitely the key, then it all depends on how the market operates and one's risk/reward attitude.
