Because people are idiots. They are taking the 20%-30% pip profits of the last day or two & risking the chance to be in for the potential 500% profits over the next few months.
Honestly with most speccie explorers I would probably do the same, but with CDT there is too much risk of missing out for me to sell. 5x distinct exploration areas ('Old Gold/Copper' ie. Beasley Creek/Polelle/Wanganui etc, 'New Gold' ie. Eeraheedy etc. and 'Graphite' ie. Kambale), any one of which could be company-making.
