I would like to add, based on my experience, well performance in poor permeability wells can be transformed in a cost effective way by utilising "Stimgun propellant-assisted perforating" or Stimtube technology. These guns create micro and mini fracs in the near wellbore region where the shots are initiated and although the fracs do not penetrate deep into the reservoirs as in the case of hydraulic propped fracs, they usually enhance well performance in a cost-effective manner.
