The directors of Quantum Resources Limited (Quantum or Company) (ASX: QUR) are pleased to announce that the Company has entered into an option agreement to farm-in to five distinct exploration projects located in Alaska, with a total portfolio licence area of 192.3km2 and strong potential for gold, silver, zinc, nickel, copper, cobalt and rare earths (Projects) under a joint venture arrangement (Joint Venture) with AK Minerals Pty Ltd (AKM), an Australian proprietary company.
AKM is the ultimate owner of the Projects through its Alaskan subsidiary, AK Custom Mining LLC (AKCM). AKM is an exploration company with an aggressive long term exploration program planned for testing of new frontiers for discovery, value creation and production.
Mr Avi Kimelman, Managing Director of the Company holds a relevant interest in approximately 22.5% of the issued shares in AKM.
