I dont ascribe to the "structural" ore genesis theories. Magma, hydrothermal fluids, carry the fluids that lead to ore deposition/precipitation in host rocks, or the in magma itself via replacement or at brecciated margins. Chemistry rules the roost when it comes to precipitation/concentration of ore from these fluids. Sure, big structures have a role to play in dictating where the magma and associated hydrothermal solutions will travel (and theres a few of them in this ground). Magma characteristics and host rock chemistry dictates where the mineralisation will be deposited.
