The Uranium asset is a cracking asset to have and I'm sure it will have it's time in the sun when public sentiment and bureaucrats who harp on about a cleaner greener energy planet pull their heads out of the sand and realise that Uranium could play a major part of the solution.
Until that time comes and there are policy changes, why would you continue to flog a horse stuck in the mud.
Why would you not keep the company alive and ticking by creating new opportunities as the CXU team are clearly attempting to do.
They mention in their qtly that they are looking at the concept of potential Rare Earths within their vast tenure in the Gascoyne, a concept with very real merit and timing as the Gascoyne has recently become one of Australia's Rare Earth hot spots with the likes of Dreadnought Resources, Hastings Technology, Kingfisher Mining and Voltaic Strategic creating massive news flow for the area through recent discoveries.
CXU's ground is in the same region, with the same geology and hosts the same major fault structure that passes right through the guts of Dreadnought and Hastings.
Then they announce a pick up of an extremely prospective greenstone belt within the Julimar Trend for Nickel,Copper, PGE's and Gold only a few hours out of Perth and just north from Chalice Minings World Class Julimar discovery that created massive news flow for WA which in turn made any ground within this trend hot property. So to get this extremely under-explored greenstone belt with the anomalous geochem, with obvious structural and geophysical targets similar to that of Julimar is fairly good going on CXU's part.
The CXU team are clearly having a crack at upping the anti so why not give credit when the credit is due.
