The Tesla offtake agreement can be taken to the banks as well as the market. Syrah has to execute the AAM vision, of course, but that is the opportunity I invested in. Synthetic graphite will likely always be fractionally better, but the carbon cost is unsustainable and not every application is worthy. My POV is that Balama can and will support a long dev cycle of improving recoveries and efficiency in conversion natural graphite to AAM.
I am invested in lithium as well, via PLS IGO et al. It seems to me logical that graphite is subdued in large part because lithium shortage is acting as a bottleneck. This is why I will continue accumulating eventual big volume low COP SYR now.
