The more you think and read about the Tesla deal with Syrah , the more it highlights the importance of linking the "branding" ( or endorsement to term it another way) of the two together .
This article out of South Korea news , demonstrates the "leadership" of the South Korean battery makers in America.
9 out of the 14 giga factories being led by South Korean interests , with two of the factories being built in Glendale , Kentucky and Stanton , Tennessee. Both within a day's driving distance to Vidalia ....and scheduled to be operational by 2025 .

Just confirms to me , that the forthcoming FID by Syrah and its plans to build its initial further10k plant at Vidalia ( to largely satisfy Tesla's own initial needs) , has the capacity to be funded for "scaled up "very rapidly into 2022 , with similar Binding Agreements .
The long process that SYR has taken , to produce and circulate its sample spherical graphite , puts it in absolute pole position , to ink other deals at a pricing it can dictate .Of course --it still has to prioritize and juggle commercial scale product delivery to Tesla with other Contracts yet to be signed ...but a nice future problem to deal with .
Some beefing up of the Board with international Directors , might not be too far away .
