I think you answered your own question bloke. Tesla are not entitled to subsidies for materials etc supplied from China - however they will be and hence their part shift in strategy - be entitled to subsidies as all other EV related companies for related US supply chain. Tesla clearly can not (nor can any) obtain what they need internally from the US anytime soon - so they will continue China supply and plead for tarriff removals in the meantime an establish/mix their future US supply chain.
Careful for what you wish for re the buy again at $1.50 - held/watched Novonix go ballisitic and thought similar lol. Future earnings is what it is all about and clearly as Proga touched on - near all EV asx listed stocks performing extrordinarily well today and it appears the theme is set for 2022 by the instos.
