Not until well into the 2nd half of this decade. Vanadium is not high on the list of priorities atm due to cash restraints. Once Vidalia is at 40-50kt/yr and another plant is built in Europe, they can then look at it.
The IMF is suggesting current graphite miners will need to increase their concentrate production to help keep up with demand. No company was mentioned but SYR are only mining from their southern pit in which the IMF would be fully aware of. If SYR decides to duplicate their concentrate plant at Balama, they may decide to install a Vanadium plant at the same time.
Fastmarkets has been heard from. Better a day late than not at all. They didn't post their prices table but I'd say there was no change. The main message is supply remains tight but we knew that. Chinese EV production set a record in Nov and the forecast for Dec is even bigger. SYR providing more detail gets a mention. It was also mentioned in Asian Metals under Company News.
