The most significant thing out of this agreement is Tesla dipping their foot into natural graphite.
Tesla are currently using batteries that contain 100% synthetic graphite. If Tesla shifts away from this it could open the floodgates for all the other battery prooducers as they will want to compete with Tesla on price (natural graphite is much cheaper than synthetic graphite). Tesla giving its vote of confidence to natural graphite is huge and could have a huge effect on the demand story for natural graphite.
It's actually laughable that people are getting hung up on not seeing the price for this agreement when there is all this extra information that you can gather by reading between the lines.
