I used to love that show....
' Ole ' Benny could never really put a foot wrong and always had some angle or plan of attack.
On that note how about we just review what's more or less transpired these last 4 weeks.
O.K so we can all speculate and wonder when the AUZ SP will be let off the leash - because as of close of trading on the ASX on Thursday 14th May ,and since the first 21,136,705 shares went through on the 20th April being the first day of trading following the $1.45 million placement for 181,250,000 shares on the 17th April 2020 - 184,784,818 have now gone through... not including the 8,077,998 going through today. And ALL of them at above the issue price of .008 cents.... including BB's 1 million shares which were also purchased ' On Market ' on the 17th April being the placement issue date..... and at more than a convenient 20% above the placement issue price......
On top of that , we should also consider the fact that these ( BB's 1 million shares ) were purchased at 1.0825 cents per share verses AUZ's net asset backing per the Half Year Accounts which is calculated at 1.02 cents per share ( and have included the 181,250,000 shares issued from the recent placement .... )
So not only would he have known this ie regarding the net asset backing , but also would have been more than comfortable in buying his ' token ' 1 million at almost exactly the net asset backing which would include also their Investment in Norwest Minerals which has also increased by 10% since the 15 cent price paid back in September 2019 when they last topped up.
So the combined total of the 181,250,000 together with the options of 43,412,500 1.5 cents options equals approximately 6.12 % of what would be a total of 3,670,304,979 total shares on issue including BB's 1 million recently added ' after ' the placement.....
And I do like the fact that there are these ' near ' in the money Options looming in the background. Namely because , it's just another lever that can be pulled on the financial engineering side of the equation , and in potentially providing immediate or future cash flows moving through the next few months.
On the shares side of the equation ; and even if one were to argue that BB had thought it all through - can we assume that he must have been aiming at the immediate re-rate or uptick in the SP towards the options strike price of 1.5 cents ?. Because for him , that would only represent a unrealized capital increase of a paltry $4,175. So why then would he do this at all if it wasn't more about ' flagging ' support or confidence in what will most likely soon soon reveal itself to s a ' new ' direction and / or emerging development into the overall SCONI plans....
Finally , I would ask all holders to consider in light of all these ' concentric ' and timely events that as of today - Friday the 15th of May , it has only really been exactly 4 trading weeks since these simultaneous events or if you prefer you can call them coincidences......and exactly 45 days now left until the end of perhaps the worst 6 months in a single financial year since the 1987 crash and the GFC.......
