while i take your point, you're not giving this the gravity it deserves. this is the entire capacity of ASN spoken for before the mine even opens, which underpins the finance deal. the reason this is being released is because they need to demonstrate to financiers that there is a market for the product.

there can be nothing binding as yet, because there is no terms for it to be sold... i.e VRX can't discuss capacity or logisitcs or schedules... and thus no terms for contract. this is as close as you'll get until permits and build are underway.

this is actually a pretty big swing and suggests that we A) don't have to sell to china and B) clearly there is a boat load of demand at or above the BFS price..... not too many mines can achieve A or B.
