The main takeaways for me are that by definition of a PR in a cancer patient undergoing a drug trial is that the cancer has shrunk by at least one third (30%) and there are no signs the cancer has grown anywhere else in the body.
Also , a 30% ORR is considered a' GREAT ' outcome in a drug trial , and even more so in more difficult cancers being treated. And if you look how many PR's we had in the first 26 patients or so , as stated before in a post , we are likely to see a good number more in around the 6 - 9 months period after those additional patients started in the trial.
So that would mean we finish on a significantly higher ORR percentage well above 30% , and which is then often used as an ' Endpoint ' to show a drugs potential. And this would indicate a significant achievement towards gaining that much talked about and anticipated ' Accelerated Approval ' from the FDA.....
