1. hoping that it may have reduced
2. Ensuring it had not increased
The absence of 1 may not be a problem, and may be achievable from earlier intervention. If we can deliver stasis / stability/ lack of deterioration, or a marked reduction in that rate, then we still have a blockbuster and patient has much improved treatment option.
