Great point DAAC. We have some info re the patients start point but nothing really re state of disease progress - i.e no published bench mark other than general stats. Basically why I am calling out for a live preso / Q&A with the good Dr's - to put a bit of flesh on the bones in order to eliminate some of the guesswork. Suggest the actual outcomes at this stage are actually pretty straight forward to scale and interpret - does not have any impact, has some scientifically measurable impact but no real patient benefit to disease progress, scientifically measurable impact with observable benefit to patient in which case PAA would no longer be in the category of lowest ASX bio market cap listing.
We now know for sure this PAA MPL is well tolerated in humans. We know the original liquid MPL had scientifically measurable impact on both animals and dogs and we know these latest GMP grade pills have scientifically measurable (positive) impact on animals (dogs). Even, EVEN if this early stage MND trial proves only that these MPL tablets have some scientifically measurable impact on humans but no apparent measurable beneficial outcome for MND patients this is still a significant step forward as we also know there exists a significant number of potential applications for this MPL pill to target.
The recent SP movement is showing some very early green shoots. With a market cap still sub $30 million this surely has to begin to attract some attention within the market. Some good news well delivered has to be akin to a spark in a tinder box.
