    bit like the way it picks up messages.... via irridium satellite network. Isn’t that the whole point of why people would pay for it, if you had reception you would just use google maps or find a friend

    to my knowledge Garmin or Spot doesn’t offer this ? Be interested to be corrected by anyone if that’s not the case
