IMO the company didn't necessarily have any obligation to inform the market that they had asked Swami to resign at the end of his contract because of an internal dispute among management and the Chairman. It might be different if Swami had suddenly resigned, but he will infact serve out his contract term which ends in June. The problem for the share price is largely the result of the media attack which is apparently designed to hurt the company. Someone with knowledge and an axe to grind with DW it would seem.
