When they drill & map a prospective area high grade, medium grade & low grade areas are identified & excavated accordingly.
Now really high grade heading for oz's / ton (not in the realms of possibility for Kcn imo) where fine & lump gold are in play, a processing plant will incorporate maybe a spirals system, or a wilfley table or a nelson concentrator.
Now my knowledge could be outdated on this but somehow I doubt it....change occurs slowly in mining.
