80 is still very good, you did well to think logically. Agree we jump on news but the question becomes how soon do we actually expect tangible news? Fluff news won't fly now and while we wait for quality news buyers will think to themselves "can I get this cheaper". We likely get Trieste news before yellowknife and I'm very happy they are aggressively exploring (this is exactly what we want) but logically this still takes time. Results don't magically appear, as much as we would love them to
It's just the logical conclusion once you piece everything together, I'll be watching to see if this starts trading in the 45-55 range, perhaps a little lower or higher (I'm not a trader, I operate more on fundamentals) and if it goes below 50 I'll be adding because I quite like how management is approaching this and after the yellowknife fires clear, things will be exciting! I do agree with the other posters that yellowknife fires are actually going to make things easier long term, so once drilling resumes we'll get a clearer picture.
One more thing I did not think about earlier and someone correct me if I'm wrong here as I'm not an expert...erosion after bushfires.
I have been doing some research after the thought popped into my head thinking about how drilling will play out after the fires are brought under control. I'm not quite sure if in this particular setting erosion would be a concern or not, so I would love to hear the opinions of others on this.
I've included some links that I was reading earlier if anyone is also interested in learning more about it. Could it actually be a good thing as it changes the landscape and opens up new things that may be hidden (pun not intended)?
