Again, I said before that everything is about politics in China. For example, a local government official wants to be promoted and all he has to do is working on his local GDP numbers to please the people above him and so on, those lepidolite mines are only GDP numbers in the eyes of local officials. Even some undercover environmental investigators or journalists are being followed by local police once they step into the city, mines will be shut down temporarily and reopen while investigators come and go. Imo those lepidolite mines will only be closed due to costs issues and cancellation of subsidies but not environmental damage.
