Wellington City Council and Wellington Airport are working together to
improve the air connectivity of central New Zealand; better airline services
with Australia and direct long-haul links with the Northern Hemisphere. The
key requirement is an extension to the Airport's runway.
This Update explains what the extension would require and why the City and
Airport believe airlines would use it and what benefits would ensue.
The Update will be available on Infratil's website and will be sent to share
and bond holders.
