Ashley Gardner’s nine years as CFO at Just Group is gold for Adair’s shareholders because that is nine years working for Solomon Lew, Australia’s best retailer. No one survives working for Solly unless they are worth their salt.
My only plea is that Ashley is unleashed on the analysts and that he fixes forecasting within Adairs, a process which seems to have gone awry, otherwise how do you explain the bizarre scaredy pants market update in late June.
