There was a lot in that conference call that was reassuring. In particular the following points:
1. It sounds like they have improved their inventory turnover permanently in this period. They know they can turn it over quicker than in the past. This goes directly to the bottom line, irrespective of exogenous forces.
2. Online margin flow through expected in FY22
3. Jobkeeper of 11m to be expected this quarter
4. The strategy moving forward is to adapt to the situation and be nimble (the honesty so refreshing)
Also noted the investor presentations much better this time around, they have clearly articulated the value proposition with linen lovers (finally!!).
By my reckoning the Jobkeeper flow through + full year Mocka makes an improved FY21 compared to FY20 highly achievable. I have enjoyed today so far and will be even happier when I get the dividend deposits in September!
