This is a phenomenal result- how fortunate are we, that we can just buy a company with the click of a few buttons, that can adapt in one of the most challenging environments that can be imagined and pull off numbers like this.

They’ve actually hit the original guidance in Feb 2020 on total sales, despite having stores closed for a good 5 weeks. That is without government support, that I confess I honestly can’t work out the exact numbers around (clearly).

Even if the next period is challenging- these guys will adapt and figure out a way to turn a profit. Without recourse to excess capital, just by dealing with the cards that have been dealt. I know whose hands I want to keep my money with for the foreseeable future- it’s a lot safer than many of the alternatives when you factor in other very real risks like inflation.
