I think you are right. The div should go down, does not make sense to keep it up. Company should reinvest instead. Short term SP fluctuations does not reflect the underlying long term outlook of the business. But medium term i think this SP will be suppressed. Should provide a lot of time to buy in.
But, realising loss now only make sense for tax purposes. You don't sell your house just because a couple of weeks pass with no tenants.
