You're misreading - it's "I want an accurate projection of company timelines and to stop being strung along with empty updates, and I want it 6 months ago", or for some people "I want lab results that get no mention and swept under the rug, and I want it 12 months ago"
This patience you speak of is bulls with blinkers on who can't accept the faults in their stars, IMO.
My confidence in VEC management has been extremely shaken these last few weeks, i'm fine with delays, i'm not fine with incompetent management, if this is how they conduct updates and progress on signing a deal, how are they going to effectively project manage going to production?
I said it the other say and i'll say it again, sitting on a world class resource in an undervalued company will only last so long, Imagine the forums where this was management status quo when we weren't staring down the barrel of an acquisition? I's appalling.
My LT sentiment is very weak at this stage, will sit around for a re-rate and then scamper, like most other LT holders here I suspect.
Every single delay for the last 6+ months has been met with he same response...."It's complex, you clearly don't get it" (I myself have been guilty of such blind defence of delays in the past).
I have been a LT holder for about a year now, long before AK was on the radar and before other acquisitions people don't even talk about now, and I also have a short/term trading parcel - both holding have failed to live up to even my lowest expectations of time frames.
But dismiss this post as emotion if you like, i'd rather be labeled emotional than an indifferent bull who holds no concerns for distraction, delay, or negative events in a company I hold.
Apologies to the other LT holders for my attitude as I know it's testing all of our patience, and sorry I'm perhaps one oft the first to break - I'm not selling and still believe this will ultimately head in a positive direction mid term (3-9 months), but LT faith is shattered unless the company conducts itself differently in that time-frame.
