I'm no expert, so DYOR.... here's my take based on my Uni micro/immunology major....basically, different types of T cells around- some will stimulate cell-mediated immunity, others will help trigger B cell (antibody) responses. T cell response clearly identified. Assays for antibody (B cells) can be fickle- perhaps the third party tests not fully optimised? Also, some vaccines require multiple doses (few weeks/months apart) to trigger detectable antibody levels, especially in people who are negative to begin with; some people also need higher doses/multiple doses to trigger a response. Up all, this is actually promising news.
