Re valves. Computer is down and wanted to cite hard data, but here it is..... one of the recent papers from Germany was a case series which included a number (a large proportion, if not more than half) of valve repairs.
While it is hard to estimate the size of the valve repair market, the evidence in the literature indicates that it is an indication for CC that is genuine and with more than twice the amount of valve procedures than chd repairs, it could dwarf the demand for CC for chd repairs.
