How is this good for shareholders ?
"current strategy has an objective of maximising the chances of the GCY Group, or as much as possible of its operations, continuing in existence OR, if this was not possible working to deliver an outcome that is better for the GCY Group’s creditors than immediate liquidation".
IMO administrators are more interested in doing a deal with the larger creditors while ensuring their fees are paid.
If the existing operation continues it will do so, using a totally different structure that will benefit the main creditors & institutional investors at a significant expense to the existing retail shareholders.
