So this is how it works
The Administrators will guarantee all expenses from the time of Administration - not owed debt, just what is incurred from time of Administration.
Thats what makes it attractive for the unsecured contractors to stay on.
Same goes for Employees, everything owed sits within the administration process ie annual leave, superannuation, long service leave (cough!)
At least in this day and age, all direct employee entitlements are now guaranteed to be paid at some point. This is a massive positive for the people (including DR) but I guess not as good for shareholders.
Contractors that stay on will get paid from today forward but have no guarantee on historical debt.
Its murky for sure but don’t assume because MAH are staying on site that they believe they will get the money that’s owed.
