Atlas are safe. They are not dummies and essentially took security over the camp and 10 year lease.
Never would have handed these guys $14m without security.
Keep in mind, NVO “sold” the whole thing, including Beatons Creek, for a couple of hundred thousand dollars.
Atlas wanted the camp access, even for upfront $14m, but didn’t want to be attached to the assets, even for free!!!
Talk about bloody red flags.
And some of the posters on here said it was a DR “genius” move.
Give me a break that people didn’t see this coming.
If it doesn’t make sense, it’s not true.
The Nullagine and Beatons acquisition was the biggest noose around CAIs neck you can imagine.
Disgraceful commercial conduct.
